TANIA PORRAS

Hello there!
I'm Tania Porras, a freelance 3D animator

with 5 years of experience, based in Madrid (Spain).

In the past, I've worked in studios such as THE FRANK BARTON COMPANY, ATLANTIS ANIMATION, HAMPA, FLYING BARK PRODUCTIONS, AMUSE STUDIOS, KIMCHI, BLISS, ESTUDIO FUTURE, working on animation features (under NDA), series (Miraculous Ladybug, Crybabies, Little Changers, Metazells, Bloopies, Bubiloons, Vippets, Odd-paw vet), advertisement spots (Picó, Huesitos), and Augmented Reality projects.


 

My interest for films was developed from a very young age, with special love for short films, what led me to work in events,

such as Aguilarfilmfestival, where I collaborated from 2009 to 2019, and was responsible for the design of the poster event from 2018 to 2022.
I also worked in other film festivals as production assistant (WEIRD, Premios Quirino and Aguilarfilmfestival).

In 2013 I did an advanced specific course in Art and Design for Comics in Barcelona, before I moved to Valencia to study 3D Animation specialized in Maya, which led me into the animation industry.

Called by storytelling and writing, in 2021 I studied Script Writing for Film and TV, in Factoría del Guion en Madrid.

I like videogames, walks, coffee and photography. Big screen cinema, Argentinian tango and tap dance.
I'd love to add 2D animation to my skillset, which I'm working on at the moment.
